A roaring fire, a beautifully laid table and absolutely no washing up. Christmas Day at The Green Man on Putney Heath is looking rather lovely. Join us for Christmas Day 2026, with our specially crafted menu at £95 per adult, featuring seasonal British ingredients and all the festive favourites worth looking forward to.
Begin with baked South Coast scallops in clementine and garlic butter or delicate venison carpaccio, before settling into the main event. Think English turkey with maple-roasted gammon and Gressingham duck, 28-day-aged West Country sirloin of beef or pan-roasted halibut with Champagne butter sauce.
Finish with traditional Christmas pudding and brandy butter ice cream, or something a little more indulgent (salted chocolate and Kirsch cherry mousse, anyone?). Our little guests haven’t been forgotten either, with a three-course children’s Christmas Day menu for £50.
Nothing says Christmas quite like a warm glass of mulled wine beside the fire (closely followed by someone declaring it’s their round). Get your Christmas party at The Green Man off to a lovely start with mulled red wine (£9), a sparkling Sour Cherry Bellini (£11.50) or a winter-spiced Noel Fashioned (£12).
Planning an office Christmas party or larger festive gathering? Our £24 per person wine package includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival and half a bottle of red or white wine per guest. Whether you’re celebrating in our cosy pub or gathering friends in the heated Potting Sheds, we’ll make sure the drinks are ready for a proper Christmas catch-up.
Your own cosy Christmas hideaway on Putney Heath. Our heated Potting Sheds are made for festive drinks, sharing boards and winter gatherings. Think baked Camembert, festive Scotch eggs and mulled wine (Christmas jumpers highly encouraged).
A crackling fireplace, your favourite people and a three-course Christmas feast for £44 per person. Our semi-private Flint snug is a lovely spot for intimate Christmas lunches in Putney, with seasonal British dishes and all the cosy charm you’d expect.
Gather the team for an office Christmas party in Putney at The Ainsworth. With its lovely natural light and plenty of character, it’s made for long festive lunches, traditional Christmas roasts and celebratory drinks. Add our £24 per person festive wine package for a suitably merry occasion.
From a scrumptious three-course feast to a fun-filled weekend getaway, or just a cosy couple of pints in their favourite local (because nothing beats the friendly, welcoming vibe of the pub), treat someone special this Christmas and give the gift of the pub. We’re all about creating heartwarming memories and sharing festive cheer with the wonderful community around us. Plus, what could be more perfect than a Twix-mas visit to the pub, where muddy boots and muddy paws are always welcome?
Join us fireside this Christmas Eve for a slow-sipping, board-game-battling, slipper-shuffling kind of evening (the cosy one you dream about when the calendar hits December). Think mulled-wine-fuelled Monopoly marathons and roaring-fire comfort – the perfect pre-Christmas wind-down (or warm-up, depending on how competitive your Scrabble gets).
The smell of mulled wine wafting through the air can only mean one thing – Santa’s on his way! Forget those long bar debates and get everyone sipping straight away. With warm, spiced mulled wine ready on arrival, you’ll have your crew feeling festive from the first moment (and who doesn’t love that cosy, Christmas-in-a-cup vibe?). Let the mulling begin.
Want to skip the bar queues and jump straight into the fun? We’ve got you covered. Whether you’re craving Prosecco, Champagne, or any vibrant bubbly that tickles your fancy, we’ll have the drinks chilled and ready for when you arrive (because who wants to waste time waiting?). We’re all about popping the cork and getting the party started the moment you walk in.
